TxDOT Launches ‘Big 6’ Website

New site offers project details, updates, and ways to connect ahead of SH 6 improvements starting December 1.
The TxDOT Bryan District has launched a new website for the Big 6 project to help keep the public informed about the project. The site provides background information about the project as well as ways for residents to contact TxDOT with questions or concerns. It will also provide updates as the project commences.
Construction is scheduled to begin on December 1, 2025, with Fluor Heavy Civil, LLC, serving as the contractor. The project aims to enhance safety and improve mobility for travelers through the Bryan/College Station area. The website can be accessed at www.txdot.gov/thebig6.
