Maroon & White Night in Downtown Bryan
Information provided by Downtown Bryan Association
Enjoy an evening of free live music, dancing, activities and more at the first ever Maroon & White Night in Downtown Bryan on Friday, March 20, 2020 starting at 6 p.m. The Texas Unlimited Band and Russell Boyd highlight free concerts on the Main Street and Palace Theater stages, as well as local student organizations and music groups throughout Downtown. To honor Texas A&M students, participating downtown businesses will be offering 12% off to current college students.
This event builds upon the nearly 150-year shared history between the City of Bryan and Texas A&M University, as well as the more recent community history with Blinn College and the Texas A&M University System RELLIS Campus.
“The City of Bryan is pleased to welcome local students and residents to join our Downtown Bryan street party in Bryan-College Station’s designated Texas Cultural District,” said City of Bryan Mayor Andrew Nelson. “With live concerts and support from numerous downtown businesses, I expect Maroon & White Night to be the next big tradition in Aggieland.”
Maroon & White Night was conceived and organized by Texas A&M University student service organization Aggie Vanguard, with support from the Downtown Bryan Association and the City of Bryan.
Ryan King, president of Aggie Vanguard said, “We want more students to come to Downtown Bryan and enjoy everything it has to offer. This event is designed to not only show students that Bryan-College Station is a great place to live, but ultimately retain them after they graduate.”
There will be a free shuttle from the MSC at the Main TAMU Campus to Downtown Bryan from 5:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. and free parking available in the downtown Roy Kelly Parking Garage from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. Show your support and wear your Maroon and White.
