The Arts Council Celebrates Artist Sunday November 29th
Information from The Arts Council of Brazos Valley
The Arts Council will hold an Open House event November 29th from 1-4 p.m. at our facility to celebrate Artist Sunday. Artist Sunday is a national event helping artists and local businesses promote and sell their work; it’s a time when the community comes together to support their local businesses and nonprofits, so feel free to stop by and see what we have to offer!
We will be featuring the work of our very own Arts Council artists and our exclusive Texas Tumblers! You can browse our selections, buy some one-of-a-kind gifts, and support your favorite local artists during this national celebration.
The artists set their own prices, but the incredible and inspiring pieces are perfect to brighten anyone’s day! The Texas Tumblers, featuring our winning artist, will be sold for $40.00 and come with a free drink ticket redeemable at next year’s Boots & BBQ festival! Make sure you grab yours early because we have a limited supply!
There are thousands of artists involved in the Artists Sunday movement. We all believe art can make the greatest of gifts during the holiday season. Art and hand-crafted items make for special, one-of-a-kind gifts that add joy and meaning to life – from items for your home to wearable pieces, art can be beautiful and practical. We all need a little more art in our lives this Year.
