Brazos Valley Symphony Society Derby Day May 3rd
Information courtesy of | Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra
Derby Day 2025 is within sight! This award-winning annual gala is the major fundraising effort of the Brazos Valley Symphony Society, a non-profit organization that supports and maintains the high artistic standards of the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra. The Society promotes cultural and music education opportunities for our community and our children. Proceeds from the evening support the Symphony and help make possible the many concerts and children’s programs available to the Brazos Valley community.
Come see the Kentucky Derby, broadcast live from Churchill Downs at our exciting new location! This year’s event will take place at the brand-new Bush Pavilion, a breathtaking new venue at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum. This incredible space, featuring the historic Marine One helicopter and the 4141 Locomotive that honored President Bush, provides a truly unique and immersive experience for our guests.
This year, we are honored to recognize Jim Singleton and Stephanie Sale for their outstanding contributions to the success of Derby Day and their significant impact on both the Symphony and this beloved event.
Join us on Saturday, May 3, 2025. The starting gates open at 4:30 PM for pre-race activities leading up to the “greatest two minutes in sports,” exciting Live Auction experiences, our renowned Derby Day Hat Parade, exquisite cuisine catered by Chef Tai, live music performed by Karan Chavis, and an exhilarating viewing of the Kentucky Derby, broadcast live from Churchill Downs.
