The George H.W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum and the Aggieland Modeling Club are excited to host Scale 41: A Model-Making Workshop on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the classroom at the Bush Library & Museum.
Model-making is an engaging, challenging, relaxing, and therapeutic activity for everyone. This workshop is focused on Veterans and their families as a way for them to connect and create together. The event is free to attend, and we will have modeling kits available for attendees to make and take home with them. Guests are also welcome to bring their own projects to work on as well. There will be coaches and tools on hand to help people build the kit of their choice.
The event will also include an exhibition of models created by Texas area modelers that are aligned with President Bush’s career, specifically his service in the Pacific, the end of the Cold War, the Persian Gulf War, automobiles from the 1930s, and culture from the 1980s and ‘90s.
