“The Local” Weekly Artisan Market Returns This Month

Lake Walk’s seasonal artisan market, The Local, is back! Shop local this fall from an array of artisans, farmers, producers, and crafters from across the Brazos Valley. From fresh foods such as bread and honey, to homemade soaps and handcrafted jewelry, The Local features a variety of vendors week to week.

Beginning on Tuesday, September 22, The Local will run for 12 Tuesdays from 4-7pm until December 8.

This event is free and open to the public.

The vendor lineup for each date will vary. Each week’s lineup will be announced here on Facebook, on Instagram (@thelocalbcs), and via an email newsletter. Subscribe to receive our email updates by visiting www.thelocalbcs.com.

We are excited to host The Local this upcoming season, but want to make sure we are doing so in the safest way possible for our guests, vendors, and staff. As such, we are implementing the following policies as it relates to COVID-19:
•Masks/facial coverings are required for all shoppers, vendors, and Lake Walk staff.
•Vendor spots will have increased space between one another to allow for increased social distancing between both shoppers and vendors.
•Two hand sanitizer stations will be located at the entrance of The Local. In addition, hand sanitizer will be provided at each individual vendor space.
•Food trucks will not be present at this season’s event. Only prepackaged food is permitted.
