Elizabeth Lutheran Church 25th Annual July 3rd Fireworks Celebration | Starting at 9:30 pm | Elizabeth Lutheran Church
Come celebrate Independence Day with the largest fireworks display in Burleson County! The July 3rd Celebration started 25 years ago when some members of Elizabeth Lutheran Church wanted to celebrate the July 4th holiday with their church family. Because many families had plans to be out of town on the actual holiday, the plan was made to shoot fireworks off of a trailer on July 3rd. The first year was so much fun, the next year became a no-brainer. July 3rd was church family time. Hamburgers and hotdogs were grilled by church men, and homemade ice cream was brought by members as well. Every year just seemed to “add on” another portion of the celebration and it has spiraled into what it is today. More information can be found at elizabeth-lutheran.org.

4th of July Fireworks at RELLIS | Starting at 9 pm | RELLIS Campus
Last July we hosted the very first drive-in style fireworks show at the RELLIS Campus. The event was such a success that we have decided to not only host the event again this year, but to make it bigger and better by adding drones. You also may be surprised how much RELLIS Campus has changed over this past year – construction of this one-of-a-kind location continues. But we still have space for thousands of cars to view our firework show. WTAW (FM 94.5) has again volunteered to broadcast patriotic music synced to the fireworks provided by the Chancellor’s Century Council and our other sponsors. KBTX also will televise the event on its CW8 channel (3.2 over the air or Channel 8 on Suddenlink) for those of you who cannot attend in-person. You can also find it on KBTX’s Facebook page or app. Please join us this Independence Day for the second 4th of July Fireworks and Drone Show at the RELLIS Campus! More information can be found at rellis.tamus.edu.
