Garden-to-Table: Fresh Bruschetta

1/3 cup fresh basil
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 loaf Italian or French bread
Step 1: Dice your tomatoes, set aside in a large bowl
Step 2: Finely mince your garlic, the smaller the better. Add to bowl.
Step 3: Chop basil leaves into slivers and add them to the bowl.
Step 4: Add the shredded parmesan cheese and olive oil to the bowl
Step 5: Mix all the ingredients in the bowl together.
Step 6: Slice your bread on a bias (this means at an angle, so you get more surface area for your fresh delicious ingredients!)
Step 7: Place sliced bread onto a baking sheet and toast at 350°F for 10 minutes.
Step 8: Once the bread is toasted, carefully remove it from the oven and spoon the tomato mixture onto each slice.
Step 9: Arrange bruschetta on a serving platter and enjoy!
