The Blinn College District Music Department will present a concert by vocal music students and woodwind and brass chamber ensemble performances in November. Vocal students will perform scenes from well-known operas Friday, Nov. 15, at Finke Recital Hall in the C.F. Schmidt Building at 800 College Avenue (map) on the Blinn-Brenham Campus.
The Blinn band’s woodwind and brass chamber ensembles will be in concert Monday, Nov. 25, at 7 p.m. at the Dr. W.W. O’Donnell Performing Arts Center on the Brenham Campus. Both performances are free and open to the public with no tickets required. They also will be livestreamed on the Blinn Music Department’s YouTube channel.
“These performances are a chance to showcase two different parts of the music department,” said Todd Quinlan, Performing Arts Department Head. “We invite the public to join us.”
