Information courtesy of College Station Parks & Recreation
Our Winter Basketball league helps kids ages 6-14 learn teamwork and basic skills while growing mentally, socially, and physically. The league is for new and experienced players.
Our league had more than 400 players last year, and we have the capacity for even more this season. The player’s age as of March 10, 2023, determines their division. Here’s a look at the divisions and days of play:
6-7 Coed (6-7 years) – Mon., Wed., & Sat., or Tue., Thu., & Sat
10U Girls (8-10 years) – Mon., Wed., & Sat.
10U Boys (8-10 years) – Mon., Wed., & Sat. or Tue., Thu., & Sat
12U Boys (10-12 years) – Mon., Wed., Sat., or Tue., Thu., & Sat
14U Girls (11-14 years) – Mon., Wed., & Sat.
14U Boys (12-14 years) – Tue., Thu., & Sat
Games are scheduled on weeknights between 6:30-9:30 p.m., with Saturday practices between 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Each activity is in hour time slots with the earlier times allotted to the younger age divisions.
Activities are conducted at the Lincoln Recreation Center and College Station Independent School District gyms, depending on availability. The league plays a round-robin schedule and concludes with a tournament.
The pre-draft workout for Monday/Wednesday participants is on Nov. 28 and for Tuesday/Thursday participants is on Nov. 29. The season begins with two weeks of practice in December, with no practices scheduled from Dec. 19-Jan. 3.
Registration ends Nov. 27. You can register online, by calling 979.764.3486, or by stopping by our Central Park office at 1000 Krenek Tap Road. The cost is $80 for residents and $96 for non-residents. Jerseys are provided, and spots are limited.

Each head coach is allowed one assistant coach.
Apply online or call 979.764.3486. You must be at least 18 years old and complete a background check.
