Case and I met at one of our favorite places in the whole world, an Aggie football game. I thought it was sweet he was talking to the only old man in the student section and Case thinks he paid more attention to me than the Aggies that day. He still makes me blush! During the game, I found out he was on the Texas A&M golf team and he found out I was working at the same course he practiced every day. (Fate, was that you?) Later that evening, we fell in love over a pair of Whataburger Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits. Then after five years, a lot of adventuring, and a little bit of growing up, Case proposed in exactly the same spot we met, section 147 on the student side of Kyle Field. I was shocked (I thought we had a couple more years) and cried through most of it, but it was undoubtedly one of the best days ever. He spoiled me and pulled off one of those epic proposals, complete with a dual-family surprise party and a pretend excuse for us to get dressed up. He even had a photographer take pictures of the whole thing!
Case and I jump at any chance to celebrate so, of course, our wedding was no exception. We were married at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Afterwards, we held our reception at the fabulous Astin Mansion, where we spent the evening dancing our booties off with all of our favorite people. We wanted our wedding to be beautiful, but relaxed, so we did our best to keep those two ideas in mind during the planning process. We owe most of the credit to our wonderful wedding planner, our super talented photographer, and the wonderful staff at Astin Mansion. Case and I like to say we are two of the happiest people you will ever meet, simply because we get to spend every day doing life together. Cheers!
