Avoiding Mini “Emergencies” On Your Big Day
Article By Lizzie West
You’ve heard the saying: “Hope for the best but prepare for the worst”. Let’s meet somewhere in the middle. No bride wants to worry on her wedding day about all those small eventualities that cause last-minute stress. Through vast research, we have nailed down a bridal “emergency” kit list to help ease your anxieties about all those little things that may happen before you walk down the aisle. Some things may seem strange but they made the cut. Head to the store, pick out a brightly patterned bag to pack these things in, and make it a fun shopping trip with your bridesmaids so everyone knows what you’ll have in the kit. Also – make it a maid of honor responsibility to be in charge of getting the kit to your chosen “get ready” location.
And now, THE list:
A few standouts in the list are obviously anything hygiene related, extra shoes for after the dancing gets to be too much for those gorgeous shoes you wore for the pictures, and a straw for pre-wedding hydration so you don’t mess up your makeup beforehand. And never underestimate the power of extra bobby pins! We didn’t include many makeup items since you will likely have someone there to do your makeup and make you look #flawless.
At the end of the day, the goal is to end up married to the love of your life, the rest is just cake – which is why you need the floss.
