September First Friday
September 3 in Downtown Bryan
Presented by Baylor Scott & White First Friday, a free event in Downtown Bryan, has become the “must do” activity for residents and tourists alike. First Friday happens all day long! Shops stay open late and restaurants stay busy until well into the late evening. And if you’re looking for even more to do, The Palace Theater and downtown businesses host a variety of live music and other activities.
Hullabaloo Blues Fest
September 5 starting at 4:30 p.m. at Lake Walk
Celebrate Labor Day weekend and the return of Aggie Football with a full evening of free live music at the first annual Hullabaloo Blues Fest! Come out to Lake Walk in on Sunday, September 5 to hear incredible music by Brazos Blues Band, Tubie & The Touchtones, and the Brick Street Blues Band. Taco Boss, Always Cravin’ Pit BBQ, What’s Good, Sno Monkey, and Lemonade House will be selling food and sweet treats onsite. This is an outdoor event, and lawn chairs or blankets are recommended.
Maroon & White Night
September 9 starting at 6 p.m. in Downtown Bryan
Kick off the new school year with special student discounts, live music, and other free activities throughout Downtown Bryan! Destination Bryan is excited to present Maroon & White Night in Downtown Bryan on Thursday, September 9. This is a free event for Texas A&M and Blinn students to celebrate the beginning of the fall semester in Downtown Bryan. There will be free live music by the Spazmatics, activities throughout downtown, and participating businesses will offer 12% discounts to students with a valid student ID.
The Local
Every Tuesday at 4 p.m. starting September 21
Held seasonally in the spring and fall, The Local is a weekly, outdoor market featuring artisans, farmers, producers, and crafters from across the Brazos Valley. From fresh foods including bread and honey, to homemade soaps and handcrafted jewelry, The Local features a variety of vendors week to week.
Brazos Valley Farmer’s Market
Every Saturday from 8 a.m to Noon in Downtown Bryan
The Brazos Valley Farmer’s Market is the place for the freshest produce in town. All produce is grown locally, from friends and neighbors you know and trust. They also sell eggs, jellies and jams, honey, herbs, and garden crafts. 21 St between Main St. and Bryan Ave, in North Downtown Bryan.
