Not in My City is Unbound Bryan College Station’s annual outreach that seeks to educate and unite local businesses in the fight to end human trafficking. We know our organization alone cannot end human trafficking, that’s why we need our community rallied together to say “Not in My City” to human trafficking.
Unbound participants will gather at Antioch College Station at 10:30 AM on October 16th to receive training, resources and vision in a one-hour kickoff. Participants will then be sent out in groups to educate business owners on common red flags and signs of human trafficking. Volunteers will give each of these businesses anti-trafficking packets which include tear off posters where victims can discretely tear off a resource number to call for help. Participants are estimated to spend less than 3 hours total between the kickoff training and visiting local businesses.
This event is a FREE for everyone to attend! We hope to have at least 150 participants to reach 200 businesses in our community! You just need to register. When you register before the event, you lock in your access to free merch such as Unbound t-shirts and lanyards. Register at: https://unboundbcs.kindful.com/e/not-in-my-city.
While Not in My City is 100% free to participate; we do need business sponsorships to make this possible! We need at least 8 business sponsors to make this event possible! For a $500 tax deductible gift, your business will receive exclusive anti-trafficking materials, have your logo on the back of the “Not in My City” t-shirts and be listed as an event sponsor on our event communications.
