The Junior League of Bryan-College Station, Inc. (The Junior League) announced today that it will host the 2023 Bargain Blitz rummage sale on Friday, March 3, and Saturday, March 4, at the Brazos County Expo Complex.
The event serves a dual purpose, as a Junior League fundraiser to support programs that benefit Brazos Valley youth and as an opportunity for residents to purchase gently used items at discounted prices.
“The impact of Bargain Blitz can be felt many ways,” said Angela Cobos, President. “Not only does the community receive great deals on various items, but the proceeds go back to fund our initiatives supporting children in our community.”
Bargain Blitz will begin with a Preview Party on Friday, March 3, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. During this time, shoppers will enjoy their first pick of available items. Admission is $6 for adults, $3 for children, and includes a pizza dinner. During Preview Party, prices listed on all merchandise are double.
Doors open again for Sale Day on Saturday, March 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. After a short clean-up break, the event will reopen from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. All-day admission is $1, and children are free. During Sale Day, prices will be as marked.
“We love seeing the community come together for this event,” added Amelia Lesniak, Vice President of Fund Development. “It makes the countless hours of preparation well worth it!”
