.
The Arts Council‘s Texas Tumbler Design Competition is almost over! We are still open for submissions!
.
We want to see everything under the great Texas Sun and see this land through your eyes! BE CREATIVE! You don’t have to be Texas-born to feel the connection to this great state! We want unique entries that shows what it means to be Texan; as we all know, there are so many ways to do that!
.
Artists will have the opportunity to show their original artwork by competing to be featured on The Arts Council’s 2020 Limited Edition Boots & BBQ Tumbler! These Tumblers will be sold at our annual Boots & BBQ fundraiser next year, alongside displayed art and a prestigious interview; talk about having your name written among the Texas Stars!
.
We are looking for creative mediums, such as photography, painting, colored pencil, chalk, or more. We are not limiting our artists for this contest as long as you follow the submission process and can bring your work to The Arts Council to be displayed!
.
Rules & Guidelines
- Texas artists of all ages are eligible to submit artwork! Participation is Free
- Show your art and love for your state! For this competition, artists are free to select an already completed artwork or develop a new piece for submission
- Material and subject matter included on the tumbler should be original and must not be under the copyright of another artist/entity. Likewise, we ask that subject matter be kept appropriate for all ages!
- Due to the nature of this contest and the time-constraints from judging to Tumbler Creation, we are limiting the competition to the USA. Art may be shipped, but the winning piece MUST be at the Council by November 16th.
