This photography exhibit features the gamut of artist Joel Kitchens’ portfolio: historic, sacred, architecture, and landscapes, great and small. Using black and white silver gelatin print to give power and nuance, Kitchens hand-processes each print in a traditional wet darkroom, resulting in a look that is not easily duplicated by computers.
From the artist, “I hope viewers will find my images approachable, and feel invited to enjoy a measure of peace and serenity with them. I also hope viewers will find their curiosity piqued, and be inspired to learn more about places or objects in the photographs. Finally, I would like to share a blessing of the Navajo people that roughly translated, bids ‘May you walk in beauty.'” Learn More
“Whispers of the Woods” showcases the serene beauty and quiet majesty of wooded landscapes through the delicate medium of watercolor. Artist Hailey Herrera aims to capture the essence of nature’s subtle voices—rustling leaves, dappled light, and tranquil shadows—inviting viewers to pause and reflect. Through intricate layers, soft washes, and a masterful interplay of light and color, her work evokes both the stillness and vitality found within the forest. This collection offers an immersive experience, celebrating the harmony and timeless allure of the natural world. Learn More
