For more than two decades, the popular Starlight Music Series has attracted music lovers for free, family-friendly entertainment under the stars at the beautiful Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater (1015 Colgate Drive).
The tradition continues with three Saturday concerts featuring a variety of artists.
The first event is on April 27, followed by shows on May 18 and June 1. Families, friends, and visitors can bring picnic baskets, coolers, blankets, and lawn chairs for five nights of fantastic outdoor fun and entertainment.
The gates open at 6 p.m., followed by the concerts at 7. Free parking is available at Post Oak Mall, with accessible parking near Colgate Drive. Sorry, but pets aren’t allowed.

David Lee Garza y Las Musicales with guest Los Palominos
David Lee Garza continues to maintain a loyal following with his combination of progressive Conjunto and distinctive Tejano music formulas. After more than 30 years in the business David Lee Garza y Los Musicales have generated hit after hit with a combination of easily danceable melodies and earthy roots music blend of Country, Tex-Mex and straight up Tejano. David Lee’s unique accordion style music is readily recognized. For this reason, it is not difficult to find David Lee collaborating with other Tejano music-recording Grammy Award-winning artists like: Little Joe y La Familia, Jimmy Gonzales, La Firma, Bobby Pulido, Joel Guzman, Joe Posada, or Americana favorite artists like Kevin Fowler or Cory Morrow, T Graham Brown, Johnny Rodriguez, and Johnny Bush. Los Palominos is a Tejano/Norteño music group hailing from Uvalde, Texas. Known for their innovative fusion of traditional sounds with modern elements, Los Palominos have played a crucial role in revitalizing and popularizing the Tex-Mex genre. The band’s music encompasses a wide range of styles, including polkas, rancheros, boleros, corridos, ballads, and cumbias, blending the classic sounds of accordion and bajo sexto with keyboards and samplers to create a contemporary and danceable sound.
