The fall of my sophomore year at Texas A&M University will forever hold a place in my heart. It was Aggie football season when I fell in love with my future husband, and it was the start of something special. We met through mutual friends while tailgating before one of the football games, and we could not get enough of each other. It was the start of a long distance relationship since Cade had already graduated and was working in Shreveport, but I was willing to take that on with him.
Fast forward 2 years later, and I graduated and started working in Houston. Not long after, Cade planned the perfect proposal and asked me to spend forever with him…and of course I said yes!! We knew we wanted our wedding to incorporate our love for Texas A&M, and be a celebration that our friends and family would never forget. After researching a few venues, we knew instantly that the beautiful Montgomery area would be perfect for our wedding vision. Olde Dobbin Station was exactly what we wanted to highlight our small-town roots with such a unique, vintage feel. We wanted a Catholic wedding ceremony, so after seeing the St. Mary’s Catholic Church was nearby, there was no doubt that it was meant to be.
Our wedding was everything we could have imagined. It was the most beautiful day in January; and the perfect start to the next chapter of our life together. All of our friends and family made it a day full of love and laughter, and I think we smiled/giggled more in those few hours than ever before. We danced the night away and completed it with a sparkler exit surrounded by everyone we love. I will cherish these photos forever because each time we look at them we get to relive those moments and emotions from that day! We are thrilled to finally be Mr. and Mrs. Pavlock!
