A Special Note About Our Increased Needs
In just this first month since the overturn of Roe vs. Wade, we have seen a 17% increase in the number of women seeking pregnancy testing and consultation, and a 22% increase in the number of benevolence and material support requests. We have seen a significant increase in the number of requests for parenting classes, and a whopping 157% increase in the number of male partners attending appointments with the mothers!
- We need to enlarge our available space to accommodate these needs! That will require a significant influx of large donations. We hope to meet these needs by modifying our current space, but if this trend continues, we will need additional property to meet the needs.
- Our Hannah’s Closet Baby Boutique is running thin, so we have activated our Amazon Wish List, which is located here: https://a.co/itlG3r7
- We are seeking an increase in monthly donors so that we can hire two new staff positions: a client care navigator and an education coordinator.
- Because our staff are spending more and more time in direct client care, we have less time to take care of the landscaping. We would love to find folks who will adopt our grounds to ensure everything remains green and healthy so that our clients, when they first pull into our parking lot, will know that this is a place of peace, love, and comfort.
- We have added a $2,000/mo marketing campaign to reach out to the students at Texas A&M University. A sponsor for that amount would prevent us from draining our savings.
- We are deeply grateful for those who have reached out to us concerned for our security and taking overnight shifts to keep an eye on the building. The College Station Police Department has recommended security upgrades which include additional lighting and fencing.
God is good, and has always cared for our needs. We trust in His provision for our continued growth and outreach.
