The newest restaurant in Downtown Bryan is every comfort foodie’s dream come true. Wade and Mary Beckman, local food connoisseurs and owners of Shipwreck Grill and Amico Nave, have hit a home run with their 3rd restaurant: featuring a menu that truly satisfies every palette.
We just really got to have fun with this one. We got to play with the design and the menu and serve things that we really like to eat. We love to eat gourmet burgers and we love to eat cornbread, so we kind of got to put all of those things together, and we came out with this cool menu that’s just sort of its own thing,” explains Mary Beckman, Owner.
The fast-paced counter service, the rustic-industrial design, and the explosion of flavor have all contributed in creating the perfect hot spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Downtown Bryan.
It’s no secret that the Beckman’s love the BCS community, and yesterday our community got to show them how much we love them back! Patrons, old friends, the BCS Chamber of Commerce, and family members came out to show their support yesterday at 3rd on Main’s ribbon cutting. The Beckman’s treated guests to a sampling of their tantalizing menu. Not going to lie, our team might be 5 pounds heavier today. We chowed down on everything we love about Americana, brunch, and fried goodness, and then we ate dessert.
