Shop For The Holidays In Support Of The Symphony:
Premiere Market 2020
Information provided by Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra
Just in time for the holidays, the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra will be presenting the highly anticipated Premiere Market December 4th and 5th at the Brazos County Expo Center from 9 am to 5 pm. This event, organized by the Brazos Valley Symphony Society, will be a wonderland of merchants offering a selection of accessories for the home, gourmet foods, jewelry, designer clothing for adults AND children, toys and so much more! Proceeds from this event will benefit the cultural and educational programs of the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra.
Eva Read-Warden, 2020 BVSO Premiere Market Chair, shares her thoughts on why this is a must-go event in the Brazos Valley Area. “Premiere Market offers the most unique shopping experience, bringing merchants to the Expo Center with beautiful clothing, jewelry, gourmet foods, home items, and specialty goods – all in a fun and festive holiday atmosphere.” She adds, “our committee is striving to not only bring back the quality the community has come to expect at our market, but also to provide a fun shopping experience within a safe environment. In addition, we are adding holiday plants to be for sale!”
Premiere Market is the ideal place for shoppers to take care of all of their festive shopping needs. Yet, no special occasion is needed to indulge in shopping that benefits a great cause, as 10% of all purchases made at Premiere Market go toward the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra.
A Shopping Pass will be on sale online and at the door for just $5 and the price includes entry to the Premiere Market on both Friday and Saturday. Shoppers are able to conveniently come and go as many times as they need.
Market organizers have prepared a special breakfast option for its Friday morning shoppers. The market will kick off with “Mistletoe, Munchies and Mimosas,” featuring Brunch in a Box from 9 am to 11 am. Admission to this event is $20 and includes the 2-Day Shopping Pass. Guests will indulge in a complimentary mimosa OR a non-alcoholic alternative as well as safely prepared goodies and gourmet coffee bar. Shoppers are encouraged to make their reservations online in advance through the Premiere Market website. Shoppers are also encouraged to come Saturday morning from 9 am to 11 am to enjoy the Bellini Brunch to highlight their shopping spree with delicious brunch items and sparkling bellinis available for purchase.
During all market hours, the Premiere Market Bistro Café will serve a variety of delicious, lunch-like offerings for shoppers, to make the event more accommodating to both food and shopping needs. The BVSO™ will be working to comply with all local, state and federal guidelines ensuring all appropriate health precautions are recognized and implemented for everyone’s health and safety, including requiring the wearing of masks.
Premiere Market is an important fundraising event for the BVSO. Events like these are critical to enable the symphony to host the quality programs to which the community has become accustomed, including elite musicians and guest artists!
