The third graders of The International Leadership of Texas are excited to work with Twin City Missions on the sock drive they have selected as their Others Before Self project this year. Each grade level participates in an Others Before Self Service Project annually, where every student in that grade level votes on their favorite service project, also created by the students. This year, Johannah Smith’s idea of a sock drive benefiting a local homeless shelter is what the third-grade students elected!
Please help spread the word about this opportunity for community support as well as perhaps taking the opportunity to donate a few pairs before the April 12th deadline at 4:30 pm. Where should I take my donations, you ask?
Please deliver all donations to the school at 3610 Longmire Drive, College Station, 77845. All donations should be brought to the gym before school, the front office, or Ms. Kury’s room (222). After the deadline, all the socks will be delivered to the Twin City Mission Homeless Shelter.
The students and teachers of the third grade class of The International Leadership of Texas deeply appreciate all your help in getting the word out as well as any donation contributions.
