Bryan College Station selected as a finalist to host
2021, 2022 NAIA Softball World Series
The National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has tabbed Bryan College Station as one of two potential host sites for the NAIA Softball World Series in 2021 and 2022.
This large-scale, national event would feature 10 teams from around the country for one week of play. Games would be played at Davis Diamond, the home of Aggie Softball on the Texas A&M University campus. Additionally, team activities would take place all week long throughout the Bryan College Station community.
If selected as the host site, the NAIA Softball World Series is estimated to have an economic impact of over $370,000 on the Bryan College Station community. This includes over 700 hotel room nights at area hotels.
Marc Burchard, Senior Manager of Championship Events for the NAIA will be in Bryan College Station on Friday, February 7, 2020 on a site visit with Bryan College Station Sports + Events staff.
