Tonight’s Downtown Bryan Lights On! ceremony is being moved to the Palace Theater due to inclement weather.
6 p.m.
KBTX anchor John Gilbert will emcee the program, which will include performances by the Salvation Army Band, Kemp/Carver Noteables choir and the St. Joseph School Band. Cookies and hot chocolate will be provided at The Palace by The Woman’s Club and The LaSalle Hotel.

Downtown Bryan will kick off the holiday season at its annual Lights On! ceremony this Friday, November 21, at 6 p.m. in Gloria Sale Park.
Bring out the entire family for music from the Salvation Army Band, St. Joseph High School Band, and Bryan High School Chorale!
Santa Clause is taking a break from his Christmas duties to help Bryan mayor, Jason Bienski, flip the switch to illuminate thousands of lights along Main and Bryan streets.
Cookies and hot chocolate will be served at the park. Children will be invited to make crafts to use in a walking parade, led by Santa himself.
A Tuba Christmas will perform at the Carnegie Plaza at 7 p.m.
Santa will stick around for photos at the Palace Theater, where the Polar Express will be shown at 7:30.
