Justin and I met in 2010 while both attending Texas A&M University and members of the same organization, Fish Camp. We were good friends from the get-go but our love didn’t blossom until the end of that year when we were inseparable and falling deeply in love. I graduated before Justin but we did not let long distance dampen the sweet love we had for one another. On my 23rd birthday, in my parent’s backyard full of many friends and family, Justin got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Over the next 18 months we planned our wedding around our love for the outdoors with a classy vintage look. We wanted the feel to be comfortable, yet formal, so we incorporated my vintage vase collection and logs from the camp where I worked for 6 years. Geralyn Floral design helped us bring the outdoors in with a wide variety of unique flowers, succulents and wooden textures. We knew we wanted to be wed in College Station with our reception at the Memorial Student Center, since that’s where it all began. Ashley and Co. helped us bring everything together and the finished look at the church and MSC was classy, vintage, and whimsical which captured the true essence of our love for one another. Words can’t describe how special it was to be surrounded by friends and family on the most special day of our lives. We captured those moments in our hearts and are grateful to Thomas Ross Photography and Kites in the Tree Media for doing the same.
