Our story got off to an interesting start since Jeramie and I met on our first date. Applebee’s was our blind date destination set up by our best friends. Little did we know that the first date would lead to five and a half years of dating and eventually to an engagement that would occur after an A&M vs. Arkansas game in Arlington. While I anticipated the engagement during that game, I’m relieved that it wasn’t because that game was a nail biter! Thankfully, the Ags pulled off the win in overtime. The actual proposal occurred during another thriller adventure when Jeramie surprised me with a hot air balloon ride after the game. From that moment, we began planning our southern wedding combining my friends and family from Texas and his from Georgia, where Jeramie grew up. With a little over 100 people attending our intimate wedding, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect Sunday. Our favorite detail we incorporated was the peaches and pecans in our dessert table to represent family and friends from Georgia and Texas. A cousin of mine arranged the flowers on the tables and throughout the venue. His arrangements weren’t only absolutely gorgeous, but more beautiful than I could have ever envisioned. One of my favorite parts of a wedding is having personal touches and talent displayed throughout the day and our friends and family helped us capture this perfectly. After months of planning personal details, I can still look back and think that it was all worth it. We also cannot thank our vendors enough for helping make our wedding day the best experience of our lives! All of our loved ones helped make our whole wedding weekend unforgettable and we both cherish all the memories attached.
