You now have a chance to play in The Big Leagues, the kickball edition.
Travis Fields at Bryan Midtown Park is set to play host to the newest recreational league in town. The Big Leagues operated by RCI Sports Management Solutions; Travis Fields venue operators will put a new spin on recreational leagues. With a strong focus on fun gameplay, social aspects and a backyard style atmosphere, players can expect to get their league fix and hang around before or after playing cornhole or other games.
The first big league, kickball will commence on January 25 and be played over five weeks each Tuesday night. Right now, early bird registration has been extended to January 14th which will be less than $30 per person.
RCI Director of Operations Scott Hillier is eager to create an atmosphere people look forward to coming to each week. “Rec leagues are meant to be fun, a way to blow off some steam midweek, we want people to come to the ballpark and enjoy themselves on the field but then enjoy themselves off it before they head home.”
“We have a great concessionaire on board who will have food and drinks available, there will be music and the winners of the league will receive up to $1,000 in prizes.”
Those teams who sign up under the early bird registration will receive a special invite to the pre-season cornhole tournament for the ultimate bragging rights heading into the season.
