Daniel and I had been going to church together for several years, but had never actually met. One Sunday, I noticed him and casually mentioned it to a friend. She wasted no time in setting us up on a date….and a short eleven months later, in February, Daniel asked me to marry him over a quiet dinner at Christopher’s. The surprise continued as he had gathered all of our family and friends to celebrate our new engagement. Naturally, I decided to graduate, find a teaching job, plan a wedding, and start my Master’s program all within four months. We cruised through those crazy few months and were married on July 13th, 2013 at Royalty Pecan Farms. My main goal in planning our wedding was for it to be simple, casual, and fun. Royalty Pecan Farms made it so easy to accomplish those goals. We were those silly people that decided to get married outdoors in July…in Texas. Thankfully by the time the ceremony began, it was miraculously in the 80s! We are so thankful for our family, friends, amazing vendors, and the Lord for such a wonderful day!
