– Our Story –

Matthew and I met at a high school football game seven years ago. It wasn’t until we started dating that we realized how many mutual friends we had, even though we lived two hours apart. For three years we continued a long-distance relationship until we furthered our relationship to Temple, Texas where Matt popped the question. It was a very corny proposal, where he put my ring inside a piece of my favorite cake from the restaurant that I worked at. After two years, Matt’s job transferred us to College Station, Texas where we had our first child. After four years of being engaged, we decided to finally plan our wedding. The day went by so fast but was one of the most beautiful days of my life. I can’t say enough great things about the staff at The Amish Barn at Edge, they turned our dream wedding into real life.
