Do your part to help migrating birds!
It’s bird migration season, and you can help protect vulnerable species as they make their way through our area!
The City of College Station is launching the Bird Migration Window Painting Art Show Contest to raise awareness for bird conservation efforts during peak migration season. Parks and Recreation invites businesses, schools, residents, and offices to participate by decorating their windows with fall bird migration-themed designs. Solid patterns with gaps no larger than two inches will help prevent birds from flying into glass.
To enter the contest, submit a photo of your painted windows to parks@cstx.gov, or by replying directly to this email, by Oct. 20. We’ll share the top 3-5 designs on social media and have the community vote for the winner. Winners will be announced on Oct. 23.
