Gift A Spooktacular Egg Hunt
For Your Friends And Family

Giving out handfuls of candy to excited little ones may be the best part of Halloween, but the Parks and Recreation Department offers another way to surprise your friends and family – Eggtober!
You may be familiar with the trending “You’ve Been Booed” scheme, where you make a basket and leave it on a neighbor’s doorstep with instructions for how they can “boo” someone. We took that concept and created a crafty combination of Easter and Halloween.
From Oct. 27-31, we bring the fun to you with Halloween-themed egg hunts appealing to all ages. You can gift an egg hunt to a friend or family member or schedule one for your children. Each bundle of 25 eggs filled with nut-free candy is $15, and you can purchase as many bundles as you like.
The eggs are filled with Skittles, Smarties, Dots, Ring Pops, Sour Patch Kids, Starburst, Laffy Taffy, Tootsie Rolls, Tootsie Fruit Chews, Tootsie Roll Pops, Lifesavers, and Jolly Ranchers.
Here are the options:
Front Yard Egg Hunt (College Station residents only)
Staff hides eggs in the front yard of your choice on the scheduled day and time. We even leave a door hanger and pumpkin treat-or-treat bucket at the door for gathering the eggs. Availabilities are Oct. 27-31 from 8 a.m.-6 p.m., with easy and medium hunt options.
DIY Hunt
If you don’t have a College Station address and want to gift or personalize a hunt, the do-it-yourself option is the one for you. Pick up the treat-filled eggs and door hanger at the Stephen C. Beachy Central Park Office at 1000 Krenek Tap Road from Oct. 27-31 between 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
You can also schedule a hunt by calling 979.764.3486 or visiting our Stephen C. Beachy Central Park Office, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Registration ends on Thursday, Oct. 20.
Schedule your hunt today and make this an Eggtober to remember!
