October First Friday
October 1 in Downtown Bryan

First Friday, a free event in Downtown Bryan, has become the “must do” activity for residents and tourists alike. The streets of Historic Downtown Bryan transform into one big stage on the First Friday of each month with live music, performances, art demonstrations, and unique & interactive events and activities!
Fright Nights Haunted House
October 15-16, 22-23, 29-31 at 7:30 p.m.
Benefiting StageCenter Theatre and Trinity Oaks Starkids, Fright Nights Haunted House puts the Spook in Spooktober and will have you truly terrified!
Boonville Days
October 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Brazos Museum of Natural History
From 9 am – 4 pm learn about Brazos County’s pioneer history: visit with characters in period costume, enjoy cowboys, reenactors, musicians, dancers, artisans, and much more. This is a family-friendly event, so there will be free pony rides, train rides, and other activities for children. The Museum will be open free with more exhibits, activities, and demonstrators inside!
Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo
October 17 -24 at the Brazos County Expo
Showcasing agriculture, education, and youth to enhance our Texas culture, join the Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo in their 10th year of all things livestock showing, mutton bustin’, barrel racing, live music, carnival rides, high-action tractor pulling, and more!
Fall Farm Day at Ronin
October 17 from 2-6 p.m. at Ronin Farm
Join Ronin with your family for revelry and fun on their Fall Farm Day! They will be celebrating the season with farm foods, beer, wine & cocktails of all types, live music, local artists, a plant sale, farm tours, activities for children, guest speakers and more. The full schedule of events will be sent out as each of these exciting additions is finalized.
Halloweentown in Downtown Bryan

The Local
Every Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Lake Walk
Held seasonally in the spring and fall, The Local is a weekly, outdoor market featuring artisans, farmers, producers, and crafters from across the Brazos Valley. From fresh foods including bread and honey, to homemade soaps and handcrafted jewelry, The Local features a variety of vendors week to week.
Brazos Valley Farmer’s Market
Every Saturday from 8 a.m to Noon in Downtown Bryan
The Brazos Valley Farmer’s Market is the place for the freshest produce in town. All produce is grown locally, from friends and neighbors you know and trust. They also sell eggs, jellies and jams, honey, herbs, and garden crafts. 21 St between Main St. and Bryan Ave, in North Downtown Bryan.
