Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 22, 2025, as the City of Navasota and Visit Navasota proudly present the 2025 Navasota Blues Festival.
Known as the Blues Capital of Texas, Navasota is set to host a celebration of music, community, and local culture. Festivalgoers can spend the day exploring downtown shopping, dining at local restaurants, and enjoying family-friendly activities before gathering on the City Hall lawn that evening for live music.
The festivities begin early, with the Texas A&M vs. Samford football game televised live at 11:00 a.m. on the City Hall lawn. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and settle in for a full day of fun. Throughout the day, guests can browse the fall vendor market, take part in kids’ activities, and experience everything Downtown Navasota has to offer.
Live music kicks off at 5:00 p.m., featuring The Bad455’s and Cari Hutson as the opening acts, followed by our headlining performance from The Peterson Brothers.
This year also marks an exciting change for the Blues Festival, admission is completely free!
“We are thrilled to bring this free event to the heart of Downtown Navasota and continue honoring our city’s proud blues legacy,” said Mayor Bert Miller. “It’s a great opportunity for residents and visitors alike to enjoy a day full of music, shopping, and community in the place that gave the Blues a home in Texas.”
Navasota proudly holds the title of Blues Capital of Texas, a recognition that honors the city’s deep musical roots and connection to legendary blues artist Mance Lipscomb. The annual Blues Festival continues that tradition by celebrating the sounds and spirit that define Navasota’s cultural identity.
