Destination Bryan celebrates one year of the Bryan, TX Taco Trail with the announcement of the first Taco Trail Restaurant Champion, Taco Crave. Taco Crave received the most check-ins during the last year of the Taco Trail and will be awarded the official Taco Trail trophy.
We invite the community to celebrate with us on Tuesday, September 20 from 11:00AM to 9:00PM with free tacos from The Bryan Texas Taco Trail Restaurant Champion – Taco Crave! Taco Crave was born from a craving for authentic Mexican street style tacos that owner David used to eat when in Monterrey. After 20 years of working in the restaurant industry, he decided which tacos from Mexico he and his family craved the most and set their sights on making them the same, if not better. You won’t find their food in any restaurant here or in Mexico, but instead at somebody’s home or as grandma’s favorite dish.
The Bryan Taco Trail is a free, mobile friendly passport that features dozens of authentic taquerias, Mexican restaurants, and even a few non-traditional and fusion taco offerings. With over 45 participating restaurants the Taco Trail has seen over 1500 check-ins culminating in an estimated economic impact of over $45,000 to these locally owned restaurants.
