As is often said in Aggieland, “Do it twice, it’s a tradition”!
Our newest tradition in town is about to be the Annual Brazos Valley Family Expo – 2nd annual to be exact – happening this year on June 14th, 2025 at The Brazos Center from 10:00am-4:00pm.
This free event was conceived by Bryan Broadcasting Corporation, bringing together an incredible group of organizations, businesses, and resources from across the Brazos Valley to support families and children of all ages and stages. It’s a great indoor activity for the whole family to enjoy time together, see demonstrations, and explore local businesses and exhibits until it’s nap time. Then – come back for more!
The inaugural event in 2024 was so successful, the team hit the ground running to make it even better this time around. They hope to grow each year and continue meeting the needs of local families.
“At Bryan Broadcasting, we’re always looking for ways to support local businesses and organizations while serving the families in our community. That’s why we created an event designed to benefit everyone. At our inaugural expo, we brought together an incredible variety of exhibitors — from zoos and hospitals to family entertainment venues and dance studios. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase all that Bryan/College Station has to offer, and we couldn’t be happier with the excitement and connection it created for our community.” – Khara Emmitte, Senior Sales Executive, Bryan Broadcasting Corporation
The team worked tirelessly with local businesses from all over the Brazos Valley to keep families informed of all the resources available to them and provide a massive variety of exhibits to experience. From medical to extracurricular, clothing to entertainment, the information at your fingertips alone would take the whole day to peruse.
But that’s not all the Brazos Valley Family Expo offers attendees. There are also demonstrations, activity booths, and live performances to engage all ages. It’s a great way to spend a hot June day. You’ll walk away feeling like you’ve been given a personally curated collection of options to keep boredom at bay.
We’ve heard from many attendees and their families that it was not only a fun time for all but they also gained a wealth of knowledge from their visit to the Expo.
“Last year, we attended the Brazos Family Expo, and it was such a great experience! As a mom, I’m always looking for fun things to do with my little one, and this event was packed with resources, activities, and local programs I didn’t even know existed. We left with tons of useful info, new connections, and a list of fun things to try as a family. If you’re a Brazos Valley parent, this is definitely worth checking out. It’s a great way to explore what our community has to offer while making memories with your little one. We’ll definitely be back this year!” – Jill Renfro, 2024 Expo Attendee
