The 88th Annual Bryan/College Station Christmas Parade “12 Days of Christmas” hits the parade route this Sunday, December 7, at 2 p.m. More than 30,000 spectators lining the streets are expected to watch as the merry procession of over 100 local businesses, organizations, and individuals travels University Drive from Polo Road to Texas Avenue to the Tejas Center.
From band units, floats, and tractors, to musical performances, cheerleaders, and mounted units, there is something to delight all ages of parade patrons! Santa brings up the end of the parade, where he will be accepting letters! Be sure to put your mailing address on them, so he can write you back!
Last year’s Grand Prize Winner was the City of Bryan with its float “Santa’s Arrival Home,” including elves and reindeer directing Santa’s landing from a candy cane shaped air traffic control tower. This year’s theme is sure to produce a bunch of creativity from parade participants.
