Arts Council Announces 2024 Summer Art Camps

The Arts Council will host twelve summer art camps this year, beginning June 24th. A variety of themes and subjects will be covered in these camps, including 3D crafts, animal drawing, and practice with watercolors. Camps will be led by local artists and art teachers, including some returning from previous years.
Arts Council summer camps will run from June 24th – August 1st for a total of 6 weeks and consists of 12 art classes differing in design for ages six – 17. Camp is held Monday – Friday and will have two sessions per day: one morning session from 8:30am-12:00pm, and one afternoon session from 12:30pm-4:00pm. Camps will take place in the Arts Council Classroom and interested parents can register at acbv.org/summer-art-camps.

The Arts Council of Brazos Valley is a non-profit organization chartered in 1970 by a group of visionary local arts patrons with the purpose of establishing a leadership role in organizing local arts advocacy efforts and fostering a true community for the arts. Over 50 years later, The Arts Council has grown to serve the 5,000 square mile Brazos Valley region and since 2008, has provided over $4,000,000 in direct funding support to arts organizations throughout the Brazos Valley.
