– Our Story –

Paul and I have known each other for about 10 years.  We are both car enthusiasts, I drag race and he road races.  We met years ago at a car event and kept in touch here and there throughout the years.  When we reconnected years later, we were inseparable. After a year or so of courting, we decided to tie the knot.  Now, nothing about our relationship has ever been considered ‘traditional’ and I wanted a wedding day to remember.

Paul proposed in summer of 2011.  We chose 11/11/11 @ 11:11am as the wedding date.  He was moving to BCS shortly before that date.  I went to many local businesses gathering what we would need for the wedding that would take place on Redondo Beach, CA (one of my favorite places in the world).  The ladies at VIP were awesome, picked and bought 3 dresses to ship to CA.  MediSpa helped with the makeup prep and Audrey Mizell with hair.

We flew out on 11/10/11 to secure our wedding license and meet up with the small group of family that would be joining.  My best friend Ashley was the wedding planner, maid of honor – all of it.  My sister performed the ceremony.  Most of the party wore dresses from Ross and the groom picked up his suit from the local JosABank.  There was a bit of rain that morning in CA but at our wedding time the clouds parted and the sun came out.  On 11/11/11 at that precise time (11:11) we were married.  Took the local on vacation with us to put on a wedding on the beach :)
