Walter and I met in Spring of 2011 through mutual friends. After our first date we quickly became inseparable. Sharing the same interests of horses, good country music, Italian food and a multitude of other things, we not only fell in love, but became best friends. Through a series of finishing college and changing jobs, Walter and I both ended up living in Bryan/College Station in early 2013. Living only minutes apart our relationship grew tremendously and it was only a matter of time before he proposed. On June 30, 2013, Walter and I went to my parents’ ranch in Madisonville to spend an afternoon with them. My parents, Walter and I were casually chatting in the living room when all of a sudden he turned to me and said, “I have an important question to ask you.” He then kneeled down in front of me and pulled the ring out of his pocket and then began to say something incredibly sweet and romantic, which to this day I have no idea what he said because this is when I started to cry and say yes before he was even done talking. Almost a year to the day after getting engaged Walter and I became Mr. and Mrs. on June 28, 2014. Our whole wedding weekend will forever be my most cherished memories with him. It was everything we could have ever dreamed of. All the little details came together perfectly and it was a fun party with our closest family and friends.
