This unique five week event combines shopping, art, and giving back
The public is invited to join the Arts Center for a five week Holiday Market. Visitors will have the opportunity to shop for one-of-a-kind gifts created by over 20 different local artists and artisans, craft ornaments, and make heartfelt cards for nursing home residents. There will also be interactive holiday crafts, a photo station, a hot chocolate bar, and other festive activities for all ages to enjoy. Admission to the market is free.
In addition, The Arts Center is holding its first ever Wreath Auction. Local arts organizations and other nonprofits have been invited to decorate wreaths, to be displayed in the Arts Center’s Bradfield Gallery of Fine Art. Individuals are invited to view the display and bid on their favorite wreaths. After December 5th, the highest bidder will take the wreath home, and all proceeds will go to the organization who designed the wreath. Bids can be placed in person or by calling The Arts Center at (979) 696-2787.
An Opening Reception and Holiday Party will be held on Thursday, November 14 from 5-7pm at The Arts Center. The public is invited to come out and officially celebrate the market opening, enjoy holiday crafts and treats, and see the wreaths on display.
