PUBLIC NOTICE – State Employee Charitable Campaign Applications Open
BRYAN, TX (Mar. 6) – The Local Employee Committee of the State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) is accepting applications for the local federations and local unaffiliated organizations for the Brazos Valley SECC Campaign. The State Employees Charitable Campaign (SECC) provides State of Texas employees with the most efficient pathway for charitable giving. Employees can contribute to nearly 1,000 charities by donating a pledged gift through payroll deductions. Applying to join SECC allows charities the opportunity to get their name on the list for state employees to donate to their cause.
“The State Employee Charitable Campaign is designed so state employees who work in the Brazos Valley can easily donate to local charities through one time gifts or payroll deductions. State employees may choose from a variety of charities and causes. Every year, local charities are able to apply to become one of those choices. This local charity application is the first step in the process,” said Local Campaign Manager, Peggi Goss.
Applications can be submitted in an electronic PDF format or through a hard copy format in a 3-ring binder. The application must be received by the Local Campaign Manager, Peggi Goss, no later than 5:00 pm on Monday, Mar. 25. Any applications received after this date will not be considered. To drop off a hard copy of your application please stop by the office at 1716 Briarcrest Drive, Suite 155, Bryan, TX 77802.
