National Night Out and Community
Block Parties Set for October 4, 2022
Information courtesy of City of Brenham
National Night Out and community block parties, an annual effort to get neighbors and first responders to meet one another, are set for Tuesday, October 4, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. This year’s theme is “Aloha Spirit” so be sure to get out your favorite beach-going shirt, and head outside to meet your neighbors and local first responders.
Anyone wishing to register a block party inside Brenham city limits may contact Brenham Police Department, Sergeant Steven Eilert at 979-337-7326. All registered party information will be shared with Brenham Fire Department, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, and Washington County EMS. Anyone wanting to register a block party outside of the city limits may contact Lieutenant Mark Whidden at 979-353-7705.
Parties must be registered by 5:00 pm on September 30th to ensure they are on the list for attendance. The Brenham Police Department would also like to advise that every attempt will be made, but attendance at every block party cannot be guaranteed.
