The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History is pleased to announce its Winter Mini Camp program, Mad Scientists, on December 20-21, 28-30.
Are you mad about rocks, stars, fossils, experiments, or the ocean? Ever wonder what it might be like to be a scientist? Become a Junior Scientist at BVMNH’s Mad Scientists Winter Mini Camp!
Each day is an adventure in a different field of science. Explore a variety of scientific disciplines through experiments, interactive lessons, crafts, games, and more. Go mad about science at your local natural history museum!
Children ages 4 through 12 will have hands-on investigation into mythical creatures through history, science, and art. Students may come for one day, several days, or even all five.

The Museum facilities include classroom areas, a Discovery Room, and a 40-acre park, all used to enhance the learning experience. Museum staff members are experienced educators and classes are organized by age groups. To ensure personalized instruction, classes are kept small, with an educator-to-student ratio of 1:10.
