Ricky and I met our sophomore year at Texas A&M University in a business organization. We have the full aggie love story that was perfected when he proposed our senior year. Ricky asked me to marry him under the century tree complete with a saber arch from our favorite people in the Corps of Cadets, Gator 2 Class of 2014. Many of our friends and family were in attendance to see this amazing step in our relationship. Our proposal was even featured in the Battalion the following Monday. The next few months were a whirlwind as we focused on not only planning a wedding, but graduating college as well. We were married on May 31, 2014 in the beautiful St. Mary’s Catholic Center and hosted our reception on the Royalty Pecan Farms. Our theme was rustic chic and we really focused on the things and people we love. We were able to incorporate so many personal touches thanks to our wonderful vendors that truly made our wedding day our own. In true aggie style, we concluded the reception with the aggie war hymn complete with one of next year’s yell leaders. We are so blessed to have been able to share the beginning of our marriage with our loved ones and we will treasure that day for the rest of our lives.
