You may have heard the term “S.O. Factor” and wondered what it meant. It simply means serving others.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said it best: “Everybody can be great…because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”
Dr. King’s actions magnified his words. Our community offers many opportunities to serve and make a powerful impact, from community committees to cleaning up neighborhoods and community parks.
We invite you to join us throughout January for Dream Works in Action at the Lincoln Recreation Center as we embark on another year of commemorating Dr. King’s life and legacy. Participation is free.
