We are excited to invite you to two incredible events hosted by CASA for Kids of South Central Texas—the Community Birthday Party and the Cake Smash Challenge—both in support of local children in foster care.
Community Birthday Party: On Saturday, April 26th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, we’ll be hosting a fun-filled, free event at the Nancy Carol Roberts Library in Brenham. Bring the whole family for an afternoon of laughter and community spirit! Enjoy activities like:
- 🐾 Petting Zoo
- 🎨 Face Painting
- 🎈 Balloon Artist
- 🍧 Snow Cones
- 🎁 Activity Booths hosted by local charities & businesses
- 📚 Library Card Prize Giveaway
Special thanks to our event partners: Prasek’s Family Smokehouse, Brazos Food Bank, Brenham Children’s Chorus, Boys & Girls Club, Faith Mission, Brenham Public Library, Brenham Fire Department, Parks Department, National Charity League, Vineyard Church, Washington County Sherriff Department and EMS for their generous support.
In addition to the birthday fun, we’re thrilled to announce the Cake Smash Challenge, where local leaders are taking a cake to the face to raise funds for CASA! Here’s how you can help:
- At the $10,000 goal, Sheriff Trey Holleway will take the cake!
- At the $20,000 goal, City Council Members Leah Cook, Shannon Canales, Dr. Paul LaRoche III, and Adonna Saunders will get caked!
- At the $30,000 goal, Texas Representative Trey Wharton will take a face full of frosting!
We need our community—businesses and individuals like you—to help us hit our goal by April 26. Whether you give $25, $250, or $2,500, every gift makes an impact.
