Can you smell the pumpkin spice and everything nice (and spooky) in the air? It’s also the time of year for goblins and ghouls!
And if you’re looking for something different, we offer more than traditional trick-or-treating. This year’s festivities have something for everyone, from a festival exclusively for seniors to a Creepy Crawl 2K Fun Run and Walk the whole family can enjoy.
Take a look at our *spooktacular* lineup:
Senior Autumn Fest: Oct. 12
Adults 55 years and older are invited to our free Senior Autumn Fest from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the American Pavilion at Veterans Park & Athletic Complex. We’ll have free food, music, a cakewalk, door prizes, and more. Wear your Halloween costumes!
Annual Fall Fest & Haunted House: Oct. 20
The Lincoln Recreation Center hosts its free Annual Fall Fest & Haunted House from 5:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20. Halloween costumes are encouraged, and activities include a family-friendly haunted house, carnival games, costume contests, and more. Refreshments and candy are available for the kids.
Eggtober: Oct. 27-31
We’ll bring the fun to you with Eggtober from Oct. 27-31. The clever combination of Easter and Halloween includes two personal egg hunts for all ages. Each bundle is $15 for 25 eggs filled with nut-free candy — and you can purchase as many as you like. Registration ends on Thursday, Oct. 20.
Family Creepy Crawl 2K Fun Run & Walk: Oct. 29
Creatures of all ages are invited to the Family Creepy Crawl 2K Fun Run & Walk from 7:30 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Oct. 29, at Wolf Pen Creek Park.
