BVSO™ PRESENTS Pictures at an Exhibition

The Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra™ continues its 42nd season with a moving performance. Music Director Marcelo Bussiki will conduct our largest orchestra this season. Starting with a loved favorite of many, ‘Claire de lune’ and finishing with a stunning performance of ‘Pictures at an Exhibition!’ We can assure you this will be a favorite of many.
Before the concert, at 4 pm, the BVSO invites all concertgoers to attend a pre-concert reception with a cash bar and light appetizers in the Rudder Exhibit Hall.
Additionally, in keeping with the theme of the concert, local and nationally renowned artist Benjamin Knox will be present, offering quick sketches of patrons! There will also be local artists’ works on display around the exhibition hall.

Begin your exciting musical journey with Debussy’s ‘Clair de lune’ which will take you to the BVSO’s thrilling rendition of Mussorgsky’s ‘Pictures at an Exhibition’ The program also includes unique works by French composer Maurice Ravel and Brazilian Heitor Villa-Lobos.

This concert will be General Admission, patrons can purchase their seats via the MSC Box Office website at boxoffice.tamu.edu or by calling 979-845-1234. Tickets for this event and $55 for adults, $10 for students and children 18 years and younger. Box office processing fees will apply. All programs are subject to change.
