The Lick Creek Park BioBlitz is a nature outreach event at the Lick Creek Park Nature Center in College Station, Texas.
Teams of student volunteers go on a 24 hour surveying excursion, where they observe and record as many of the native wildlife as they can. After the surveying is complete, each team and many local organizations will have booths to present their findings.
Live animals and interactive exhibits will teach people of all ages about the fantastic biodiversity of the Brazos Valley area in a fun and engaging way!
For more information, visit their website at https://lickcreekparkbioblitz.wordpress.com/ and join the Facebook Event to stay in the loop! This FREE event is sponsored by the TAMU chapter of the Society for Conservation Biology and will take place on April 27th from 9AM-2PM.
